Delete Your Account

You can delete your Poured account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to request deletion and what data is removed.


Option 1 — Delete In-App (Recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is directly within the Poured app:

Steps to delete your account in Poured:
  1. Open the Poured app
  2. Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation
  3. Scroll down to Settings
  4. Tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Your account will be deleted immediately and you will be signed out of the app.


Option 2 — Request via Email

If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us:

Email: support@proofapps.co

Subject line: Delete My Account

Include: The email address associated with your Poured account

We will process your request within 30 days.


What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently deleted within 30 days:

  1. Your account credentials (email address and password)
  2. Your profile and preferences (experience level, units, theme)
  3. All saved recipes
  4. Your shopping list
  5. Your session history (bottles scanned, recipes generated)
  6. Your purchase status and access information

What Is Retained

We do not retain any personal data after account deletion. Anonymized, non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained for product improvement purposes. These statistics cannot be linked back to you personally.

Note: If you have an active Poured subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel it. Please cancel through the App Store or Google Play before or after deleting your account to avoid future charges.
