Proof Apps LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Poured mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use Poured. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data with transparency.
By using Poured, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Responsible Use Disclaimer: Poured provides cocktail recipes and bartending guidance for informational and entertainment purposes only. Always drink responsibly. Poured does not encourage excessive alcohol consumption. Users are responsible for complying with the drinking laws and regulations in their jurisdiction. You must be of legal drinking age in your location to use this App.
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication). If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive only the information those services provide, typically your name and email address.
Profile Preferences
We store your experience level (Beginner, Enthusiast, or Hobbyist), preferred measurement units (oz or ml), and theme preference to personalize your experience.
App Usage Data
We store the recipes you save, your shopping list items, and your session history (bottles scanned and recipes generated) in your personal account so you can access them across sessions and devices.
Camera and Photos
Poured requests access to your camera and photo library solely for the purpose of photographing bottles for AI identification. Photos are processed in real time and are never stored on Proof Apps servers. Images are transmitted directly to Anthropic's API over an encrypted connection and are not retained after processing.
Recipe and Text Data
Bottle names, recipe requests, and other text inputs are transmitted to Anthropic's Claude API to power AI identification and recipe generation features. This data is processed in accordance with Anthropic's privacy policy and is not used to train Anthropic's models without explicit consent.
Purchase Information
Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment card information. Purchase status is managed through RevenueCat, which receives anonymized transaction data to verify your access.
We do not use your data for advertising purposes. Poured contains no third-party advertising.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties under any circumstances. We share data only with the following service providers who help us operate the App:
Anthropic API
Bottle photos and recipe-related text are transmitted to Anthropic's Claude API to power AI identification and recipe generation features. This data is processed in accordance with Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy and is not used to train Anthropic's models without explicit consent.
Firebase (Google)
Your account data and saved content are stored securely in Google Firebase. This data is subject to Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
RevenueCat
Anonymized purchase data is shared with RevenueCat solely to manage your access status. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or in response to a valid legal request from a governmental authority.
Your account data is stored securely using Google Firebase with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access to your data is protected by Firebase security rules that ensure only you can access your personal information.
Bottle photos are never stored on our servers. They are transmitted directly to Anthropic's API over an encrypted connection and are not retained after processing.
International Data Transfers
Your data is stored on servers located in the United States. If you are accessing Poured from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days of your request.
Accounts that have been inactive for more than three (3) years may be deleted along with all associated data. We will send a notice to the email address on file at least 30 days before taking this action, giving you the opportunity to reactivate your account.
Poured is rated 17+ and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We rely on app store age ratings to restrict access and do not independently verify the age of users.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at support@proofapps.co and we will delete that information promptly.

Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account directly within the App by navigating to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. You may also request account deletion by emailing support@proofapps.co with the subject line "Delete My Account" and the email address associated with your account. All personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and notify you through the App or via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Poured after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
